Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has told the club that he wants to leave before the summer transfer window closes this month, according to Football Insider. Ndombele has wanted to leave for a while, and he made it clear to Spurs earlier this summer that he does not want to be at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium anymore.
Ndombele did not play in any of Tottenham’s five pre-season friendlies. The 24-year-old midfielder was also left out of Spurs’ opening Premier League game against Manchester City last weekend and will not play n the Europa Conference League on Thursday evening either.
The France international midfielder made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process. Ndombele also gave one assist in seven Europa League appearances for Tottenham in 2020-21.
