Taye Taiwo hints at Milan departure

Milan defender Taye Taiwo admits he may have to search for a new club if his status at San Siro doesn’t change soon.

The Nigerian defender had a slow start to his career at San Siro, having only featured in a handful of games this season.

Taiwo is clearly unhappy at the moment and he is likely to leave the Neroazzurri in January.

“I suffer every single day because I’m not playing football,” Taiwo told L’Equipe. “I came here to play and instead I’ve only featured in six games.

“I don’t understand how things work over here in Italy. Sometimes I’m left in the stands whereas I really need to play.

“Evidently Allegri doesn’t have faith in my abilities. It’s not really in my nature to stay in a situation like this.”
