Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is considering his options at Camp Nou, Marca can reveal.
The German shot-stopper arrived in Catalunya as a replacement for Victor Valdes and he obviously hoped to secure a regular starting berth.
However, Barcelona then also recruited Claudio Bravo from Real Socieadad, and it was the Chilean who became the number one choice.
Despite playing in Copa del Rey and the Champions League, ter Stegen is clearly unhappy about his status, and he was very disappointed not to feature in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Ter Stegen appears to be growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of playing time at Camp Nou and he could decide to request a transfer in the Jnauary window.
The 23-year-old was clearly in a bad mood during Barcelona’s celebrations of the third Club World Cup trophy, and there is a good chance he will soon be leaving the Catalans for greener pastures.
