(GSM) – Terek Grozny suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 2-1 at Spartak Moscow in the Russian capital city.

Grozny, who had won two of their previous two games and drew the remaining two, were again on course to a good result at Spartak as Shamil Asildarov put the guests ahead on 16 minutes.

But an own goal from Antonio Ferreira balanced things just before the hour and Welliton netted the home side’s winner with two minutes left in regular time.

Tom Tomsk could have entered the top three on Saturday but were instead held to a goalless draw at Dinamo Moscow.

Premier League leaders Spartak Nalchik play an away match to reigning champions Rubin Kazan on Monday, a match that will likely decide which team is to end the week in first place.
