Terence Kongolo set for Huddersfield Town stay

France Football is reporting that Dutch full-back Terence Kongolo could remain at Huddersfield Town beyond the current season.

While Monaco had purchased the left-back for €15 million last summer, they decided to let him join the Premier League side on loan in the January transfer window after he made just three league appearances in the first part of the season.

That proved a good decision for everybody concerned as Kongolo fared pretty well in 13 Premier League outings, helping Huddersfield Town avoid relegation.

The Premier League side have clearly been happy with the defender’s performances as they are now trying to agree a permanent deal with AS Monaco.

Latest reports suggest that Kongolo will be paid between €15m and €20m, as the Principality club look ready to cash in on the Netherlands international.
