Terry being eyed by Fenerbahce

A report from the Daily Mail is suggesting that John Terry could be on his way out of Chelsea in the summer transfer window, with Turkish side Fenerbahce keen on landing the defender.

Terry hasn’t had the best of seasons with the English Premier League side and he seems to have moved down the pecking order somewhat under interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Although Benitez isn’t likely to be in charge come the new campaign, the former England captain will be looking at his future as he had just one year left on this current deal, so a move away could be on the cards.

Fenerbahce are keen on sign some big name players in the summer as Galatasaray have been grabbing all the headlines recently after landing the liked of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder.

Also, they know Terry is still a top defender and at 32-years-old, he still has a few years of playing at the highest level lift in him.

Of course, the Englishman has a great relationship with Chelsea fans and whether he will be able to join a different club could be the stumbling block in this deal.

We shall see how it develops in the next few months.
