Chelsea captain John Terry is keen to sign a twelve month contract extension to his current deal, according to Sky Sports.
Aside from a brief loan spell with Nottingham Forest in 2000, the former England international has been at Stamford Bridge for his entire career and has racked up over six-hundred and fifty appearances in all competitions, scoring fifty-nine goals.
He has won a whole host of major honours during that time, including three Premier League titles, five FA Cups, two League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
Internationally, he won seventy-eight caps for his country, scoring six times, and played for them at two European Championships and two World Cups.
Chelsea currently sit top of the Premier League, seven points clear of champions Manchester City ahead of this weekend’s run of fixtures.
Jose Mourinho’s men host Burnley on Saturday afternoon, and Terry is priced at 11/2 to score at any time.
