John Terry was recently pictured taking selfies with Spartak Moscow fans, as speculation continues over his future. The former Aston Villa and Chelsea defender turned down a move to the Russian club, which is why so many fans are confused as to why he was at the game at all. The 37 year old had a medical ahead of a move that would’ve seen him land £3 million per year in tax free money, but at the last minute, decided to change his mind on the move.

Before he ends up retiring a lot of fans are interested to see where he ends up, because his time at Villa proved that he’s still got what it takes to compete at a high level.

Spartak are considered to be one of the biggest clubs in European football, and given the standard over there, it’s not hard to believe that Terry would be the league’s best defender.
