Terry set for Chelsea exit
Chelsea captain John Terry could be leaving the club in the near future, the Daily Mirror has suggested.
The 34-year-old has lost his place in the side at Stamford Bridge and there is a good chance he will be leaving the Blues either in January or when his contract expires at the end of the season.
According to Daily Mirror, Terry has offers from several Chinese clubs to continue his career in Asia, but he could be staying in Europe as well.
Namely, Turkish giants Fenerbahce are also keen on his services and could be making their interest concrete in the coming months.
It remains to be seen whether Terry will decide to leave Chelsea some 17 years after making his first team debut.
The veteran defender has since developed into one of the club icons, making 464 Premier League appearances and scoring 39 goals.
Liverpool keen on Schalke starlet
Sport Bild is reporting that Premier League giants Liverpool are hot on the trail of Schalke winger Leroy Sane.
The 22-year-old first shone last season, scoring 3 goals in 13 Bundesliga outings and he has since continued the rich vein of form.
Sane has now scored in three successive games, helping Schalke record victories over Stuttgart, Eintracht and Hamburg, and no wonder he has caught the eye of European powerhouses.
According to Sport Bild, Liverpool lead the chase at the moment and they already had a €15 million bid rejected this summer.
The Reds are, nonetheless, expected to rekindle their interest in the winter and try to secure the services of one of Bundesliga’s hottest talents.
Liverpool will be in action tomorrow evening when they host FC Sion and the Premier League giants can be backed at 3/5 to claim maximum points.
Napoli eyeing Dembele
Serie A outfit Napoli are weighing up January move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Dembele, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Azzurri have seen a number of central midfielders leave in recent years and their replacements did not exactly impress at Stadio San Paolo.
As a result, new coach Maurizio Sarri aims to add another high-quality footballer to the centre of the park and it would appear that Tottenham’s Moussa Dembele has become his number one target.
Dembele seems to be tempted by the prospect of joining the Azzurri and he has already enquired about the club and the city with his close friend Dries Mertens.
And with the Belgium international no longer an undisputed starter at White Hart Lane, it is believed that Spurs would consider serious proposals for his services.
Moussa Dembele, 28, has failed to realise his full potential since joining from local rivals Fulham, despite making 88 Premier League outings and scoring 3 goals.
