Aston Villa defender John Terry is set to make a decision on his future at the end of the season, according to the Telegraph.
The former England captain moved to Villa Park following a twenty-two year association with Chelsea, for whom he played over seven hundred times, scoring sixty-seven goals and won a whole host of major honors.
He turned thirty-seven in December and has the option of extended his current deal by a further twelve months but does not want to make a decision until the end of the campaign – one which could end with him achieving promotion to the Premier League.
Terry has played twenty-two times in all competitions this season, with his one and only goals for the Villains in a 2-1 win over Fulham back in October.
Steve Bruce’s side beat rivals Birmingham City on Sunday to move into the Championship’s automatic promotion places.
