John Terry could extend his Aston Villa career by a further season, according to Talksport.
The former England captain moved to Villa Park after over two decades with Chelsea, during which time he won fourteen major honors including five Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League.
He has played thirty-two times for the Midlands side this season with his one and only goal so far coming in a 2-1 win over fellow promotion hopefuls Fulham back in October.
Terry turned thirty-seven in December, but may sign up for one more season with Villa still in contention for an automatic promotion place with two games left to play.
Steve Bruce’s side are four points behind second place Cardiff City and end the campaign with games against Derby County and Millwall – both of whom are themselves battling for a play-off place.
They can be backed at 3/1 to be promoted by any means, after two seasons of playing in the second tier.
