According to the Mail on Sunday, Italian giants AC Milan are set to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, allowing Roberto Mancini to make his move for Robin Van Persie.
Tevez’s future at the Ethiad Stadium has been uncertain for some time now and Mancini could look to offload the rebel forward, who he of course had a major dispute with last campaign.
Milan are reportedly on the hunt for a new front man after Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to make his move to French side PSG, along with teammate Thiago Silva.
The Argentinean did play an influential role towards the end of the campaign in helping City win their first ever English Premier League title. That said though, the Italian boss may show him the exit door to avoid any controversy in the upcoming season.
Van Persie has been another man linked with a move away from his side Arsenal and with their massive financial power, City seem to be the favourites to sign him along with local rivals Manchester United.
It looks as though there could be a lot of front men on the way out of their respective club’s this summer, making for a very exciting transfer window.
