Tevez nears Boca return

Argentine newspaper Ole has suggested that Juventus hotshot Carlos Tevez is on the verge of joining Boca Juniors.

The highly rated footballer initially planned to return to La Bombonera when his contract expired in June 2016, but he has since changed his mind.

Tevez decided to try and sign for Boca Juniors in the summer transfer window and the latest reports suggest Juventus will not stand in his way.

The Bianconeri were reluctant to let him join another European side, but they are perfectly happy to let the striker leave for Argentina on a free transfer after enjoying two very successful years in Turin.

Boca Juniors chairman Daniel Angelici has flown to Chile to wrap up a deal with Tevez, who is currently representing Argentina at the 2015 Copa America.

After failing to defeat Paraguay in their opening fixture, la Albiceleste can be backed at 3/5 to see off holders Uruguay tomorrow evening.
