The Sunday Express is reporting that Carlos Tevez is negotiating a summer move to French giants Monaco.
The experienced forward is set to enter the final year of his Etihad deal in the summer, and is unlikely to sign a contract extension.
With the player clearly unhappy at Eastlands, it is almost certain that he will leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
According to Sunday Express, free-spending Monaco hope to take advantage of the situation, and the French giants have already begun talks over Tevez’s switch to Stade Louis II.
Monaco currently lead the race in French Ligue 2, and they aim to mount a serious title challenge as soon as they return to the elite division.
Tevez is believed to be tempted by their ambitious project and is keen to join the club in the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old joined City in a big money deal from Manchester United in the summer of 2009 and has since scored 56 goals in 103 Premier League appearances.
