Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has suggested that he does not plan to leave the Bianconeri any time soon.
The Argentine forward has been an instant hit in Turin having joined from Manchester City last summer, bagging 19 league goals during his first season at the club.
Tevez has already scored four goals in as many competitive fixtures this term to continue his rich vein of form, bagging the only goal in yesterday’s victory over AC Milan.
And with his current deal due to expire in June 2016, the Argentine’s long-term future could be in doubt, although he insists he is certain to remain for at least another two years.
“Serie A is full of big players and it remains one of the most difficult leagues in the world,” Tevez told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Asked whether he will still be at the club in 2016, he added: “Absolutely, yes.”
In spite of his stunning performances in Serie A, Tevez was unable to break into Argentina squad under Alejandro Sabella, but new boss Gerardo Martino hinted that the Juventus star was in his plans.
