AC Milan attacker Stephan El Shaarawy is not worried about the potential signing of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
The 19-year-old joined Milan in the summer, but he has found playing opportunities hard to come with only five appearances so far.
El Shaarawy was hopeful of moving up in the club’s pecking order following Antonio Cassano’s heart surgery, but the San Siro outfit are reported to be locked in talks with Tevez’s agent to take him away from City on loan in January.
However, the former Genoa man’s representative stressed that his client is not concerned about the consequences of the Argentine’s potential arrival at the club.
“I am convinced that Stephan will have his own space, it will be hard but he will have his chance,” Roberto La Florio told SportItalia.
“He must think about showing himself and playing.”
“Honestly, I did not make any estimation about how much playing time he would get when he arrived in the summer.”
“(Milan CEO Adriano) Galliani has been clear from the start, Milan have big plans for the player and they want him to grow calmly.”
“Tevez’s arrival would not be a problem because El Shaarawy can play in different roles, also out wide.”
