With the likes of Declan Rice and Harry Kane completing their own respective £100million transfers last summer, it appears that several England internationals could once again steal most of the transfer headlines this year.
Alongside continued speculation that Ivan Toney will force a move away from Brentford when the summer transfer window opens up, there are plenty of English icons that are attracting some heavyweight interest.
With the Premier League now strictly enforcing any potential FFP breaches, a number of clubs are desperate to balance their books and could be forced to part ways with some of their biggest first-team stars.
Ahead of what looks set to be another record-breaking summer transfer window, we have taken a look at some of the England internationals that could be set for a blockbuster move ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – Liverpool
With Jurgen Klopp shockingly announcing back in January that he will be ending his nine-year stay at Anfield come the end of the season, it is no surprise that a host of Liverpool’s first-team stars have been linked with their own respective move away from Merseyside.
Alongside speculation that attacking icon Mohamed Salah could be the next Premier League superstar heading to Saudi Arabia, there is recent speculation regarding Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future.
Although Liverpool’s academy graduate might be regarded as one of world football’s best full-backs, the 25-year-old is soon to enter the final 12 months of his deal at Anfield and an agreement on a new deal doesn’t seem to be making any real progress.
Dealing with a string of injury issues this season and with 18-year-old Connor Bradley continuing to shine since bursting onto the scene, it has been suggested that the Liverpool hierarchy could be tempted to cash in on Alexander-Arnold when the summer window reopens.
Certainly not short of options should the England international leave the red half of Merseyside this summer, it has been reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid are monitoring the situation closely.

Conor Gallagher – Chelsea
With Chelsea dealing with some public financial issues behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge and some major FFP sanctions hanging over them, it is no secret that the Blues are desperate to slash their bumper wage bill in west London.
Desperate to raise some funds ahead of their reported deadline on June 1st, it appears that the former Premier League champions are looking to force many of their first-team stars out of the exit.
Along with continued speculation over Mauricio Pochettino’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge, it appears that Conor Gallagher is attracting plenty of interest.
While the former Crystal Palace loanee might have been appointed Chelsea’s skipper for this season, the two parties have failed to agree on terms over a contract extension and it has been suggested that Gallagher has grown frustrated.
With it reported that the Blues value the England international in the region of £50million, bitter London rivals Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Gallagher and have identified Chelsea’s captain as a standout option ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are preparing to table an early summer bid worth £30-£40million for #Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and a deal could be done by 30th June.

Jack Grealish – Manchester City
Although Jack Grealish might have only arrived at Manchester City back in August 2021 for an eye-watering fee of £100million, the former Aston Villa superstar has largely struggled to make much of an impact under Pep Guardiola.
Dealing with a handful of injury issues this season and bagging just three goals in his 14 top-flight appearances, the 28-year-old also featured in just one of City’s final eight contests prior to March’s international break.
Watching Jeremy Doku make an immediate impact since arriving from French outfit Rennes last summer, Grealish has cut a frustrated figure for large spells of this season and has drastically struggled to find any real stability.
With continued speculation that City are once again weighing up a big-money move for West Ham ace and Brazil international Lucas Paqueta, it has been suggested that Grealish could be forced out of the Etihad exit.
Although Guardiola might have been quick to praise Grealish and the role that he can play over the final couple of months, it has been suggested the Sky Blues are open to letting the England international leave this summer.
🚨 Manchester City might let Jack Grealish leave this summer as they look to raise funds to enhance their squad.
