Along with getting their World Cup qualifying campaign underway on Friday night, England officially begun a new era at Wembley.
While Thomas Tuchel might have officially been appointed as Gareth Southgate’s successor back in October, Friday’s 2-0 victory against Albania was the ex-Chelsea bosses first game in the Three Lions dugout.
With Tuchel making it clear that World Cup success next year is his only priority, it appears that a string of England’s superstars are attracting plenty of summer interest.
As some of the Three Lions’ fringe stars look to reestablish their spot in Tuchel’s new-look squad, we have taken a look at some of the England internationals who could be set for a blockbuster summer switch.
Marcus Rashford – Manchester United
At the heart of a public feud with Ruben Amorim and enduring what was becoming a messy divorce from boyhood club Manchester United, Marcus Rashford had a huge amount of pressure on his shoulders after completing a sensational Deadline Day switch.
Arriving in the Midlands on a loan basis for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign, Rashford is certainly enjoying a new lease of life since joining Unai Emery’s squad.
Getting back to his best form and making an immediate impact under the guidance of the former Arsenal boss, the 27-year-old was also rewarded with a return to Tuchel’s maiden squad this month.
While Rashford might have failed to open his account since arriving at Villa Park last month, he has been a key part in their charge to book another European finish this season.
With it suggested that Villa do have a £40million option to buy this summer, it has also been reported that Rashford has received plenty of Serie A interest.

James Trafford – Burnley
While James Trafford might have endured a difficult campaign among England’s elite last season as Burnley slumped their way to an immediate Championship return, the 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout season at Turf Moor this time around.
With many suggesting that the former Manchester City starlet is England’s future long-term number one, Trafford has continued to receive a string of plaudits.
With Burnley remarkably shipping just 11 goals in their 38 Championship appearances this season, the 22-year-old has been pivotal to Scott Parker’s promotion charge in Lancashire.
While the Clarets might mark their return from March’s international break sat just two points adrift of breaking into the automatic promotion spots, many around Turf Moor have already accepted that Trafford is likely to secure a blockbuster move away from Turf Moor.
Alongside continued speculation over a move to newly-crowned EFL Cup champions Newcastle, it was also reported over the weekend that Manchester United are keeping tabs on the England U21 ace.

Marc Guehi – Crystal Palace
Although Marc Guehi might have eventually stayed put at Crystal Palace last summer following serious interest from the likes of Newcastle, the former Chelsea starlet remains adamant of completing a permanent switch away from Selhurst Park.
While the Palace hierarchy might have made it abundantly clear that they want their skipper to stay put in south London, the 24-year-old has declined multiple contract extensions.
Set to enter the final 12 months of his current deal this summer, Palace know that this is their final opportunity to cash in on their defensive talisman for what will be a hefty fee.
With many regarding Guehi as Tuchel’s number one choice at centre-back heading into next year’s World Cup, it is no secret that the 22-cap international is attracting plenty of heavyweight interest.
Alongside recent speculation around a potential move to Anfield, Sky Sports reported during the January transfer window that Chelsea are keen on bringing back their former academy graduate.
