There has been a lot of talk about the situations of Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez at Real Madrid in recent months. Many reports claimed over the summer that the club were desperately trying to get rid of them and raise more funds to spend on top of the €300 million they paid for those who arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, no suitable suitors came, nobody offered the money Real wanted or the wages they currently earn in Madrid, and both of them stayed put.
Bale is currently out of action due to injury, and while his future is still being widely discussed, James seems to have buckled down and did everything a player can do to convince head coach Zinedine Zidane that he is good enough to be a part of his team. But according to Marca, the possibility of the Colombian leaving the club in January still cannot be ruled out.
