Portsmouth boss Tony Adams insisist he will remain Pompey manager still for a long time, even if Portsmouth have won just two of their 15 Premier League matches.
“Nothing’s changed. The owner (Alexandre Gaydamak) wants me to do the job and the chairman wants me to do the job”, claims Adams. “The players want me to do the job and the majority of the fans do”.
“I was verbally abused by a couple of fans after last week’s defeat at Fulham. It was a bit unusual, but I’m not alone as there are managers up and down the country who get it”, the boss added.
