French international Theo Hernandez is set to replace one Real for another as he edges closer to sealing a Real Sociedad move this summer.
The Los Blancos left-back is expected to be loaned out and Mundo Deportivo reports that the two sides have already agreed terms of the deal.
The Champions League winners are expected to cover less than half of his total salary and will not be looking to bring anyone as a replacement. La Liga behemoths have all the faith in the world in Marcelo and academy prospect Reguilon who was promoted to the first team after impressing during preseason.
Theo Fernandez will, therefore, be given a chance to revive his career outside Santiago Bernabeu after making only 13 La Liga appearances last term.
The French international is only 20 years old and Real Madrid will monitor his progress as they believe he can develop into an important player in the future.
