“There was ball displacement” – Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo reacts to Ivan Toney free-kick in loss to Brentford (Video)

Despite his team losing 3-2 away to Brentford on Saturday, Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo was pleased with the way his players performed. The only thing he didn’t seem too pleased about was Ivan Toney’s goal from a free-kick in the 19th minute, which made it seem like goalkeeper Matt Turner did a poor job of positioning the wall.

But Espirito Santo pointed out that the ball was displaced before the Brentford striker took the shot, believing it to have been an important moment for the outcome of the match.
