French forward Cyril Thereau has signed a new contract with Udinese, the Serie A side announced via their official website.
The 32-year-old joined from Chievo just over a year ago and he proved an instant hit at Friuli, scoring 10 league goals in his first season at the club.
And the striker has now been rewarded for his promising showings, having signed a new deal with the Zebrette until June 2018.
Thereau had spent his early career in native France and Belgium, but it was the move to Chievo that helped him make a name for himself.
The French forward spent a total of four years with the Flying Donkeys, making 124 Serie A appearances and scoring 26 goals.
Thereau was then sold to Udinese in the summer of 2014, and he did well to quickly develop into an important member of the squad. The striker started four league games this term and bagged one goal.
