A glorious evening for one team, a horror show for the other. That’s about enough to summarize what happened at Bramall Lane on Monday, as Arsenal put six goals past Sheffield United.
Since the turn of the year, Mikel Arteta’s team have beaten Crystal Palace 5-0 at home, Nottingham Forest 2-1 away, title rivals Liverpool 3-1 at home, West Ham 6-0 away, Burnley 5-0 away, Newcastle 4-1 at home, and now Sheffield United 6-0 away.
This unbelievable run of form in the Premier League will certainly take some stopping, and Brentford probably aren’t looking forward too much to their trip to the Emirates on Saturday.
Here’s what Mirror journalist John Cross had to say about the Gunners’ performance at Bramall Lane.
