According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has dismissed reports linking him with a move to the Premier League.
There’s a whole lot of turnover going on right now at Bayern, just weeks after they won the Champions League. One part of that proposed turnover will see Thiago make his way over to English football in order to join either Liverpool or Manchester United, but all parties involved seem to be dragging their feet on the matter.
While there’s still time left for the transfer window to throw out a few surprises, it seems unlikely that either of the two aforementioned rivals would be interested in letting a saga like this stretch out for too long. Sure, Thiago has denied that anything is going to happen, but it’s just as likely that this is some kind of ‘move’ to try and draw more money out of his next potential club.
