Inter midfielder Thiago Motta admits that he could join Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window closes in January.
The Brazilian midfielder is out of contract in the summer and he has yet to be offered a new deal at Giuseppe Meazza.
Inter president Massimo Moratti yesterday stated that he would like for Motta to remain with the Neroazzurri, but the player may have other things on his mind.
The 29-year-old has moved to confirm speculations linking him with a January move to Parc des Princes.
” I spoke with the president and the club, we clarified a lot of things, now we have to see,” Motta told reporters.
“Paris is a big city, there’s still eight days until the end of the transfer market so anything can happen, we will see, I don’t know but at the moment I feel good here.
“I have to thank Moratti and Preziosi, who have helped relaunch my career after such a difficult time, but let’s see. I have not decided anything yet.”
Motta joined Inter from Genoa in a €10 million deal in the summer of 2009 and has since become an important player for the Neroazzurri.
The Brazilian started 10 Serie A games this season, scoring 3 goals in the process, even if he was mostly used as a defensive midfielder.
With the player unlikely to sign a new contract at Giuseppe Meazza, Inter will probably use the opportunity to cash in on him in January.
