Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that AC Milan are hot on the trail of PSG midfielder Thiago Motta.
The Rossoneri have been on the lookout for a new central midfielder and have been linked with moves for John Obi Mikel and Mario Suarez.
However, having been alerted of Thiago Motta’s availability, AC Milan appear to have made the former Inter Milan footballer their number one target.
Namely, the Italy international is reportedly unhappy with his status and Parc des Princes and he has informed the club chiefs that he wants out.
AC Milan aim to take advantage of the situation and lure him to San Siro, but it remains to be seen whether Motta will be keen on joining Inter’s bitter rivals.
The Rossoneri will be in action later today as they play host to Sassuolo in their first match in the New Year, with Pippo Inzaghi’s charges available at 4/7 to claim maximum points.
