Brazilian defender Thiago Silva has quashed transfer speculation by saying that he was happy to stay at Milan.
The highly rated defender has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but he has now moved to deny such claims.
“I’m content here, I’m happy, I have a contract until 2016 and I’ll stay,” the player told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday.
“Only after that time will we see what happens because you just never know in football.”
Thiago Silva also spoke about Super Cup win over Inter.
“We played with some fear in the first half against Inter. Then boss Massimiliano Allegri walked into the changing room at the break and reminded us that we won the Scudetto last term.
“He told us that we could turn the game around.”
