Milan defender Thiago Silva has urged club chiefs to sign his compatriot Ganso before other interested clubs intensify their interest.
The Santos midfielder was reportedly close to joining the Rossoneri, but it appears that Milan’s interest has cooled off lately.
“I have talked to Ganso and he is recovering in record time from his muscle strain,” Silva told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He wants to play in the Copa America and he wants Milan.
“I have read that the deal has come to a stop. I have read that he may arrive in December, but that’s no good, Ganso must be taken now. This is the right time.
“To me, it seems like Milan have very clear ideas on how to strengthen the squad. Next year we will try to win everything.
“With the right purchases, we won’t feel envious of Barcelona. That’s why I said that we must not lose any time with Ganso.”
