Thiago Silva has revealed that he is happy with Paris Saint-Germain, and he wants to retire with the French champions. The 33-year-old has been an integral member of PSG’s squad ever since joining from AC Milan in 2012, but now, there are reports linking him with a move back to the San Siro – although he has insisted that he’s had no contact from the Italian club.
Silva is currently under contract with PSG until 2020, and given his age, the next contract extension that he signs will likely be his last. There have been many comings and goings at the club over the course of the summer transfer window but as we look ahead to the future, it seems as if their core is just as strong as it has been in the last few years.
Silva’s senior career began way back in 2002, and since then, he’s established himself as one of the best defenders in world football.
