Real Madrid came very close to signing Thiago Silva last summer, and the Milan defender has now failed to deny speculations linking him with a move to Santiago Bernabeu.
The Brazilian says that Jose Mourinho has shown interest in signing him last summer.
“It was Mourinho, who was very interested since his time at Inter. Unfortunately, the move was not possible at the time.”
Last summer, he was quoted as saying he wouldn’t go to Madrid.
“I never said that. And I will never do because you never know what will happen tomorrow,” said Thiago Silva.
The Brazilian admits he is flattered by Real interest.
“Every footballer’s dream is to play for a big club. When I’m done with Milan and if I have a proposal from Real Madrid, I will be very satisfied.”
