Chelsea first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is once again in the centre of attention with the Spanish media.
The Belgium international shot-stopper was recently quoted claiming he would like to return to the Spanish La Liga in the future and Marca once again have Courtois as their top transfer topic.
The Spanish media outlet claims the 24-year-old confided to his teammates he wanted to quit Chelsea to join Real Madrid this summer.
With FIFA reducing Real Madrid’s transfer embargo from the entire 2017 to the end of the season, Marca states that Chelsea goalkeeper does not hide his desire to join Los Blancos anymore and that he sent a come-and-get-me plea to the Spanish royal club.
Belgian’s teammates are reportedly trying to convince him to change his mind, but Courtois apparently has his sights set on a La Liga return at the end of the 2016/17 season.
Courtois has two years left in his Chelsea deal.
