(GSM) – South Africa is looking forward to the final draw of the World Cup, tomorrow. Danny Jordaan, CEO of the World Cup organising committee thinks the country is ready to present itself to the world.

“The draw on Friday night will be a spectacular show,” Jordaan told Dutch magazine Voetbal International. “Not only because we picked Cape Town as a location, but also because all top countries will be represented. The quality of the qualified teams is extremely high. Besides the individual class of the various top players, there are also coaches like Diego Maradona and Carlos Dunga. That will give the WC a high profile.”

Jordaan also said that the broadcast of the draw will be ‘an energetic show that will show what it means to be an African.’ 134 million people from around the world watched the previous WC draw in Germany which was broadcasted live in 137 countries. Jordaan thinks that South Africa will exceed the ratings of 2006. “I’m convinced that we’re going to broadcast a show that will live lang in the memory of the viewers.”
