The Sunday Express has learned that Premier League title contenders Manchester United have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier.
The Belgium international is said to be feeling undervalued and underappreciated at Parc des Princes with Unai Emery using the 26-year-old sporadically since the arrival of Dani Alves who pushed Meunier down the pecking order.
Frustrated by a lack of minutes and fed up with playing second fiddle, the Belgium right-back is said to be contemplating a move away from Paris.
Manchester United have been on the lookout for a long-term solution at right-back and could offer Meunier with a perfect escape route. Antonio Valencia is once again enjoying a strong season at Old Trafford but United lack proper back-up for the Ecuadorian and Jose Mourinho appears to be keen on Meunier.
The Red Devils are said to be open to investing up to £30 million to land Meunier in January transfer market.
