Arsenal are in danger of losing Thomas Partey for free at the end of the season, according to The Mirror. Partey is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2025, and with little progress being made over a new deal, there is a distinct possibility that the defensive midfielder could be on his way out of the Emirates Stadium.
The Mirror has noted that due to Partey’s current situation, he is free to talk to clubs outside of the Premier League from January 1 and sign a pre-contract. There have been injury problems for the £45 million Ghana international defensive midfielder on occasions during his time at Arsenal, but he is now an important player in the team.
Partey has made 13 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season. The 31-year-old has scored two goals and given one assist in those games. The defensive midfielder has played six times in the UEFA Champions League for the Gunners, who are keen on signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton.
