Thomas Tuchel wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants to sign former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Tuchel is pushing with new club owner Todd Boehly to get a deal for Aubameyang done.

Tuchel reportedly believes that the Gabonese striker is perfect for his Chelsea side. The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have yet to make an official bid for the 33-year-old striker, who moved to Barcelona in January 2022 after leaving Arsenal.

During his time at Arsenal, Aubameyang scored 68 goals and created 19 big chances in 128 appearances in the Premier League. The striker made 13 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona during the second half of last season, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist in the process.
