Thorgan Hazard spoke to the Borussia Monchengladbach official website and he has ruled out leaving the club in the transfer window which is now underway.
The 25-year-old revealed he had spoken to sporting director Max Eberl before the winter break, and that it was agreed that he would focus on helping the team be successful at the moment. He says Eberl knew his head was at the club, and he isn’t thinking about a winter transfer at all. However, he was reluctant to make any promises for beyond the season’s end. Similar to what his brother Eden has said regarding his own future at Chelsea, the younger Hazard doesn’t rule out signing a new contract and staying at Monchengladbach, but the same goes for leaving in the summer. He will speak with Eberl about the matter again when the time comes.
Meanwhile, German publication Bild claims talks are underway with Borussia Dortmund for a move to the Signal Iduna Park in the summer. Thorgan Hazard seems to be seen as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic who has agreed to join Chelsea, likely also as a potential replacement for the Real-bound Eden Hazard.
