Tiago to join Lazio?

Juventus midfielder Tiago could join Serie A rivals Lazio in the January transfer window, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

The Old Lady tried to sell the midfielder all summer, but failed to find a new club for Tiago that could match his current 2.6 million euros per season salary.

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri is looking to swap Tiago for Lazio ace Cristian Ledesma, according to Tuttosport.

Ledesma almost joined the Bianconeri this summer.

The Portuguese midfielder turned down the chance to join Monaco, Everton, Newcastle, Porto, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham during the summer, according to reports in the Italian press.

Tiago joined the Bianconeri in a £13m deal from Lyon last year, but have failed to impress in Italy.
