Tianjin Quanjian want to make Aubameyang world’s highest-paid footballer

Borussia Dortmund star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has emerged as hot transfer target for Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian.

According to L’Equipe, the Chisese Super League outfit is determined to scupper PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City’s efforts of landing the 27-year-old Gabon international by a whopping offer believed to be in the region of €50 million a year.

Chinese are keen to tempt Aubameyang east with a whopping offer that would effectively make him the highest-paid footballer in the world.

Proposed deal would see Borussia Dortmund key man surpass Carlos Tevez (€31.98m), Cristiano Ronaldo (€32m) and Leo Messi who is topping the list with €40 million.

Tianjin Quanjian face a big challenge in convincing the Gabon international move to China since Aubameyang is still harbouring a Real Madrid ambition.

The 27-year-old hasn’t made a secret of his desire to play for Los Blancos, but even if that dream does not come true for him, Aubameyang is believed to prefer to remain in Europe.
