Tielemans close to Leicester move

“Tielemans was at Leicester’s training ground this morning. It seems that this is just a matter of finishing the paperwork. It’s a loan deal until the end of the season – and a swap deal with Silva going in the other direction.”

Those are the words of Sky Sports reporter Kirsty Edwards, who believes that it’s only a matter of time until Leicester City confirm the signing of Youri Tielemans. The 21 year old Monaco star, who made the move over to Ligue 1 from Anderlecht, was also linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur – but it appears as if the Foxes have been able to land their man.

Tielemans was also reportedly spotted in a Leicester training kit, as he gets ready to sign on the dotted line. Tielemans has been a part of the Belgian national team setup since 2016, and he’ll be hoping that a move to the Premier League can help him to solidify his place in the squad.
