Tiene delighted with Premiership link

Valenciennes star Siaka Tiene admits he would be keen on a move to the Premier League.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with two English clubs in the French media in recent weeks.

“I am really happy we have moved away from the relegation zone,” Tiene told Sky Sports.

“However, we are still around there and we need to try and get away and make sure we stay in Ligue 1.”

“I’ve played in Belgium and in France, the Premier League will be fantastic to join,” he added.

“I have heard that I have been looked at by some clubs from there, but who knows – at the moment I need to help Valenciennes to stay in this division and at the end of the season we will see.”
