CA Tigre join San Lorenzo de Almagro at the top of the Argentinian Primera Division, following a 1-0 win over Independiente.

The only goal of the match came in injury time, as Luna scored to earn his side a very valuable three points.

San Lorenzo couldn’t do better than a 1-1 draw against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. The home side did take the lead through Silvera in the 19th minute, but Niell equalised shortly after the hour mark.

The draw forces San Lorenzo to share the first place with Tigre, although they do still have the better goal record.

Third-placed Boca Juniors earned a 0-1 win at Banfield, with Mouche netting the winner on 79th minute.
