Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul has moved to reject speculations linking him with a move away from St James’ Park.
The Netherlands international has developed into one of Premier League’s top shot-stoppers over the last couple of years and he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.
However, the player who has four years left on his deal with the Magpies, says he is enjoying his time at St James’ Park.
“What the papers write I don’t take notice any more, I have got a four years contract at Newcastle, I’m really happy,” he told Sky Sports News.
“I love playing for this club, so I just focus on myself and getting a good season this season and then hopefully going to the World Cup.”
Tim Krul joined the Magpies from ADO Den Haag back in 2005, and he was quickly handed his Premier League debut.
The 25-year-old has made a total of 91 Premiership appearances for Newcastle, while even nailing down a regular starting berth in the Netherlands national team.
Krul has been in fine form this season, and he is no less than 9/2 to keep a clean sheet in Monday’s clash with Everton.
