Timo Werner is open to leaving Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. It has been reported that Chelsea are on the hunt for a top-class striker, and that has led to the Germany international forward contemplating on his future.
Chelsea, who won the Champions League last season, are looking at Erling Haaland, Romelu Lukaku and Antoine Griezmann as potential forward signings this summer. Werner’s camp have told Borussia Dortmund that he would be open to a move to the German club. Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are looking at the 25-year-old forward as well.
Werner joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig last summer. The Germany international made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Blues last season, scoring six goals and providing eight assists in the process. The 25-year-old scored four goals and gave two assists in 12 Champions League matches for the London club.
