The 19-year-old Dutchman will make the temporary jump from Manchester to London to gain some valuable playing time, something that has been at a premium for him at United.
Starting his youth career at Ajax in his native Netherlands, Fosu-Mensah quickly caught the eye of the Red Devils and in 2014 joined the Mancunian club’s youth ranks.
In 2016, the defender made his senior club debut with United, but in the two years he has spent in Manchester he has only accumulated 21 total appearances for the club.
Now with Palace, Fosu-Mensah looks to gain some quality minutes in the Premier League as the versatile young Dutchman can play anywhere in the back line and is familiar with the defensive midfielder position.
Fosu-Mensah joins fellow youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who joined from Chelsea, on loan to Crystal Palace as they try to lead the Eagles onward in the Premier League.
