Toby Alderweireld set for Spurs exit

The Times is reporting that Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld is set to leave Tottenham at the end of the current campaign.

The 28-year-old has another 18 months left on his current deal, and he reportedly wants a new contract worth £150,000 per week.

The problem is that Tottenham have no intention of meeting his demands, meaning that a summer exit could be on the cards.

Alderweireld has also clashed with manager Mauricio Pochettino, and given the heavy interest in his services, Spurs will probably listen to offers in the summer transfer window.

The likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have all been linked with the experienced centre-back in recent weeks.
