PSV Eindhoven forward Ola Toivonen has yet to make a decision on his long-term future, reports Voetbal International.
The Swedish footballer has a contract that is due to expire at the end of the current campaign and he has in turn been linked with a number of high-profile clubs.
Fiorentina and Newcastle are believed to be leading the chase for his services, but it appears he still hasn’t made up his mind about leaving.
Toivonen and his agent Mino Raiola recently had a meeting with PSV Eindhoven technical manager Marcel Brands, which is enough to suggest the player is open to the possibility of remaining at Philips Stadium.
The 27-year-old joined PSV in January 2009 from Malmo FF and has since made 135 Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch giants, scoring 61 goals in the process.
That has got to be considered an excellent return when we know that he was mostly used as an attacking midfielder at Philips Stadium.
