(GSM) – Luca Toni feels happy at his new club Roma and has reiterated his desire to make his move from Bayern München permanent this summer.
The 32-year-old striker is currently on loan until the end of the season but feels at home at the Olimpico and is determined to lengthen his spell with the Giallorossi.
“I feel good in Rome. I have a great relationship with the club and the fans. I will do everything to stay here even in the future,” Toni explained.
“Right now, I only ought to think about playing well and scoring goals. My objective over the next two months is to play well enough to go to the World Cup.
“After that we’ll see what happens. I repeat though that my desire is continue playing with the Roma shirt.
“I have still not reserved a ticket for South Africa. First, I have to give the utmost for Roma and I have a great desire to do so after over a month out.
“As for the rest, it’s up to Lippi to decide,” Toni concluded.
