(GSM) – Luca Toni has reiterated his wish to stay at Roma. The towering hitman joined the Giallorossi on loan from Bayern München in January and would like to remain at the Olimpico.

Toni looks set to return to Bayern if the two clubs can’t strike a deal.

But the 33-year-old striker has admitted he wants to stay in the capital, and is hopeful that Roma and Bayern can find an agreement over a longer stay.

“I am giving my utmost because it’s my dream to stay here,” Toni explained.

“I want to stay at Roma to have other chances, to show what I can do and to keep playing for such a strong team.

“But I am not the only one who has to make a decision. It’s up to the others too.

“Above all, I am waiting for the club to plan my future. But I repeat, I would really like to stay at Roma,” he concluded.
