(GSM) – There were no surprises in the Belgian league on Sunday as the top three teams all won their home games.
Leaders Anderlecht earned a 2-0 win over Genk in the Belgian capital city, with Romelo Lukako scoring the opener five minutes after the break and Tom de Sutter added a second with two minutes to go.
Club Brugge beat Roeselare 1-0 thanks to a 82nd-minute goal from Dorge Kouemaha. Brugge’s Jonathan Blondel was sent off in the 32nd minute, but Roeselare lost two men in the second half as both Anthony Van Loo and Bjarni Vidarsson collected a second yellow card.
AA Gent remain in third place following a 2-1 win over Charleroi. The visitors went ahead through Ederson in the 25th minute but Christoph Lepoint levelled 12 minutes later and Elimany Coulibaly netted the winner ten minutes after the interval.
